Following are the basic penalties associated with multiple DUI offenses in Florida. However, it is important to note that the penalties may vary depending upon the particular case.

  • First DUI: up to 9 months imprisonment, fines of up to $1,000, and driver’s license suspension of up to 1 year.
  • Second DUI (within 5 years): 10 days to 12 months imprisonment, up to $2,000 in fines, and a minimum license suspension of 5 years.
  • Third DUI (conviction within 10 years of most recent offense): 30 days to 5 years imprisonment, up to $5,000 in fines, and up to 10 year driver’s license revocation.
  • Fourth DUI:up to 5 years imprisonment, up to $5,000 in fines, and permanent driver’s license suspension.
